PRIME LA Institute 
2025-2026 Application

The Programs in Medical Education (PRIME) LA Institute is a year-long mentorship program with a culminating one-week summer intensive program designed to provide community college students transferring to a 4-year university with the opportunity to learn more about the PRIME-LA track at DGSOM.

Thank you for your interest in the PRIME LA Institute 2025-2026 cohort. For a list of our program requirements, visit our website. There is a two-phase process of the program.
1) Submit an online application, including a letter of recommendation.
2) If selected to proceed to the next phase, you will receive an email invitation to participate in an interview in April/May 2025. 

Please note that this application will take roughly 45 minutes to complete and will require you to have the following items ready for submission:
   -Transcripts
   -Personal Statement
   -Headshot photo 
   -Name and email of your letter of recommendation writer
