Thank you for your interest in participating in this research study.

We ask initial questions to determine your eligibility for the research study. We ask about your age, racial identity, university affiliation, and experience of unwanted sexual contact. Our UCLA research team is working together to understand Asian and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students’ experiences in relation to sexual violence, racism, and microaggression. We want to assess how the COVID-19 pandemic affected your physical and mental health.

We invite UC students to this 2-part study. Part 1: survey + Part 2: 60-min. interview.

The screening survey will take about 2 minutes. You may feel uncomfortable answering questions about your personal life. You do not have to answer any questions you do not wish to answer and you may stop at any time. You can choose to participate in only one part of the study.

Your participation in the screening is voluntary. A decision whether or not to participate in the screening will not affect your relationship with your university. You will not directly benefit from the screening.

Your answers to the following questions will be confidential. No one will know your answers except for the research team. If you do not qualify for the study, your answers will be destroyed. If you do 1) qualify for the research, 2) decide to participate in the study, and 3) consent to the research participation, the screening form will be saved with the research record.
